When I was a yout...

So its been about a month since the last post and all I can say is that shit was quite hectic during the holiday season! First and foremost I'd like to send a big up to errbody in this new year, and more importantly to my newly discovered Ophiuchus constellations (lol) for trolling for about 250 years, good looks.

Since we last met I've purchased a new phone (which means more original photos/videos), I've been chosen to support Drop the Lime when he stops through Buffalo next week (Jan 28th), and have been brainstorming endlessly on a new crew and events relative to Buffalo's urban culture. I've also been breaking bread with the fam because with the last year behind us it is clear that Buffalo's scene is quite healthy and is moving forward into the right directions.

Friction last Friday (Jan 14th) was over the top with energy. Buffalocals Brotherbear, Mike Parker, Swaggle Rock, and Beta took to DBGB's and demanded the power they deserved from the crowd. Brotherbear's set was definitely the highlight of my night, not only did he show DBGB's what he was about, he solidified his status in the scene by throwing down some serious bass weight and got the crowd moving.

Shouts out to the Mstrnate and Chief MC for joining me on the mic during Brotherbear's set. And as always big up the Queen City Cartel and DBGB's for another highly successful Friday night in Allentown.

On to more current events, MNM Presents brings you Eskmo tomorrow night (Jan. 22nd) and Drop the Lime next Friday (Jan. 28th) to Soundlab (downtown Buffalo). Two heavyweights that are well respected in each of their scenes are coming to Buffalo to see whats up in this cold neck of New York.

In more dubstep related news, the 'WTF IS BROSTEP TOUR' will be making its way to Buffalo at club Noir February 10th featuring Emer, Skrillz, with local support from KateRush and Beretta. 'The Subsonic Tour' will also make its way to February 7th featuring Excision, Downlink, Antiserum with local support from Big Basha at the Town Ballroom. The month of February is looking really big for shows in Buffalo and you can bet we'll be on the scene to document it all ;)

Well that's it for now, I do believe that this was a good first post of the year, (20 days later lol). I now leave you with this ill song I found whilst frolicking about the interwebs;
Shy FX feat. Kano, Donae'o, Roses Gabor - Raver

talk to yall soon, peace.
