...I'm here in the LRC @ my university watching old episodes of "Hercules and the Hero of Athens" sitting next to some hairy dude with terrible B-O. He's also eating some kind of chocolate and the two smells are converging into a super smell and its totally unbearable. I'm gagging as I'm writing right now and I have no real reason as to why I'm continuing this post...actually, I do remember what I was going to write. I forgot how relaxing and cohesively put together Diplo's first album was. In all honestly his trip-hop was next level, and compared to the way contemporary music is consumed I can listen to his music and not feel rushed to skip over a track thats 5-6-or even 7 minutes long. The depth of the album reflects his love for music and how people just have to sit back and calm down sometimes. But, I'm not knocking his remixes or more recent productions because I love that stuff too. I feel that Diplo is truly a dynamic producer, able to cater to many.
