He's half filipino, half french, but all dope. Rob Roy hails from Florida and is cosigned by the Hip-Hop loving indie clothing giant, AlifeNYC. His flow is Andre3000 meets Aesop Rock meets Apl de Ap. His underground banger "Fur in my cap" has been buzzing around the internet for a few weeks now and people are starting to catch on.
Good looks to my boy Patrick Higgins for putting me on. The end of the infectious southern-style track features an intro into an Outkast-esque "Bombs over Baghdad" type beat where he pours on a layer of his quirky rhymes. Definitely something good to start off the summer with, and by the time your done watching the quite clever video you'll be singing the chorus. Enjoy :)
