so i found pretty much the first best thing in amsterdam apart from the red light district (word to euro-trip!). their name is partysquad and these guys are running the hip-hop game over in the drug capital of the world. i stumbled upon their experimental track "crazyfunkystyle" while i was engaging in some illegal activity on the net (peace to tom on myspace!) and i was completely blown away. the track features a mix of a traditional euro-style hard trancey kick drum, wonky synths, spastic claps, a bmore break, and some home grown hip-hop sample...the track is pretty much bananas. but what makes me angry is that the song has been out for a year now and me being so in touch with everyone elses blog BUT my own, i figured something would have popped up about the track somewhere, but to no avail. so this is like a dated-exclusive for the crankdat.blog, enjoy ;)
