grimey indie-rock band Hadouken! are gettin ready to release their debut album "MUSIC FOR AN ACCELERATED CULTURE" on May 5th through Atlantic records. this is a good look for the Leeds/London based indie group who have been making a ton of noise these passed couple of years. check out their video for "Declaration of War" here :)
on a holier note, underground christian hip-hop mc Braille is releasing his album, "The IV Edition," on April 15th. i've been following Braille for some time and he never ceases to amaze me with his raw yet positive sound. he delivers righteousness whilst skipping over boom-bap beats. definitely a treat! you can purchase the album here.
moving along into the digital world filled with sub-bass and half-step 140 bpm beats we get word through the grapevine that UK producer Forensics' album, "The Singularity" has finally dropped and is avilable for purchase. the dubstepforum regular is signed to Digital Sin Recordings and the album is sounding massive! Forensics was actually nice enough to send the link to a getdarker forum dubstep set to keep you on your toes until you lot can stack your pennies and cop the album. you can find the mix here.
bow e3 representer wiley aka wiley kat aka eskiboy aka godfather of grime aka king of aka's has released his video for crossover smash "Wearing My Rolex." The tune is an absolute smasher and has been signed by Atlantic, hopefully something more will come of this signing for the Eskimo Mc, you can view the video here.
last and certainly not least, indie/electro/pop quartet VHS or BETA are playing in Rochester, New York this friday (April 4th) at the Bug Jar. Doors open at 8pm so make sure you get there in time to shake yo ass but watch ya self! 21 and over gets you in and i believe the cover is about $5. supporting acts include Tigercity and local acts as ususal so don't miss this one!
