crankdat.album review

hello hello hello!

as I sat on my ass and did some serious "homework" this spring break, I stumbled upon this gem of an artist called "Adele." With the buzz Amy Winehouse created last summer, people are on the look-out for more fair-skinned soul sistas. England has been churning out some solid artists the last 3 years including: Leona Lewis, Kate Nash, Lily Allen, and of course Ms. Winehouse. So it is no surprise that more of the buttery goodness that England has been spreading across the airwaves these last few years has melted into the millions and millions of iPods and computers around the globe. Which brings us to the comforting voice of voluptuous North-Londoner, Adele Adkins. Her latest release, "19," features twelve cuts that seem to be the 19 year-old's autobiography. Adele has been hailed as the next "Winehouse" for her soulful voice and choice of lyrics. Tracks to check out on "19:" "Daydreamer" "Hometown Glory" "Chasing Pavements" (single) & "Make You Feel My Love."
